One of the main beliefs and driving forces behind the Harana Surf brand is, of course, the belief that surfing as a sport can really change lives. Surfing is so healing and so much a part of our life that we want more and more people to know the feeling of getting stoked and riding on waves. Surfing in the Philippines is a very young sport and one of the things that is making the sport known is the Philippine Surf Championship Tour or PSCT. It is a tour that brings surf competitors from all over the Philippines to key spots in the Philippines to compete for official National Rankings. We support them by sponsoring the events when they hold it in cloud 9, but more importantly we help some of our promising surfers out to compete in these events.

Guided by coach Manuel “Wilmar” Melindo Jr. our riders get a chance to strut their stuff in the national events. If they are good enough, they compete Internationally. We’re proud to say that we require more from the team riders than just surfing well. More importantly we want them to shape and form their characters so that they can be great people of the community in the future. We require a holistic growth effort from them and help them with three things: equipment, physical health and behavior / attitude. For the young ones, we require them to do well in school in order for them to stay on the team. Check out our team members below.
